Cuarteto Polaco de México
The Polish Quartet, named after its two members of Polish origin, was formed by the initiative of Mtro Pawel Sliwinski and with the collaboration of the Polish Embassy in Mexico to celebrate the one hundred years of the Independence of Poland.
The first objective of the quartet is to spread the music of Polish composers but the repertoire covers most of the works for string quartet, the idea is to support the diffusion of chamber music through classes, courses and concerts, understanding that chamber music is the genre where the great composers have expressed their most refined expressions.
The Polish quartet is made up of musicians of such diversity that they practically approach all the ways of expressing music, from members of symphonic orchestras, of chamber, chamber ensembles, to soloists with orchestras or recitalists of their own instrument. This time the Polish Quartet with its vast experience since at least two decades will be presented playing works by Corelli, Beethoven and Moniuszko.
The presentation will be next Thursday, November 15, at 8:00 P.M.
