Confirmed! The Enslaved metal band comes to Costa Rica. The presentation will be at Pepper Disco Club, on March 24, from 7:00 P.M.
Enslaved is a Norwegian viking metal band, founded in 1991 by Grutle Kjellson (bass and vocals), Ivar Bjørnson (guitar and synthesizer) and Trym Torson (drums) at Haugesund. The name of the group comes from the song “Enslaved in Rot” of Immortal. In 1995, after two albums published, Torson left the band to join Emperor and since then a series of changes of his formation followed one another until in 2004, Cato Bekkevold (drums) and Herbrand Larsen (keyboard) joined Kjellson, Bjørnson and Arve Isdal (guitar, who had joined the group in 2002), completing the current line-up.
Since their debut in 1991, they have released eleven studio albums, three EPs and two DVDs. They have also won four Spellemann awards for the best metal album.
