Event Description:

Within the framework of the temporary exhibition “Isla del Coco: Costa Rica’s Last Natural Frontier”, the Jade Museum invites you to a film series that will be shown with documentaries about this natural paradise.

The scenic beauty of Cocos Island is impressive. This small land area of 23.85 km² has a water resource of rivers, streams, cliffs and incredible waterfalls and waterfalls. The fight against illegal fishing in Isla del Coco is daily.

The short film “Island of Coco the Island of the Sharks”, tells us this reality and the importance of scientific work to trace the movement of sharks and thus create more protection sanctuaries. We will also be accompanied by the filmmaker, Germán Arciniegas.
