On Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 pm at Cultural Center of Spain in Costa Rica, we invite you to attend this “Conference Sudaka Noise: new circuit of sudamerican experimental music”.
The accelerated mass use of Internet that was experienced in the first decade of the two thousand, allowed the development of a large network of cultural exchange events, isolated and unknown to the bulk of the official culture in the world.
Conference will focus its interest in making known the historical facts that through the appearance of stamps, festivals and individual projects in different South American provinces, led to the formation of a wide network of collaboration and transit between individuals and current collectives.
The event includes videos and interviews conducted by NOXA REC, as well as a listening session for current Peruvian and Latin American noise projects.
Participates the speaker José María Málaga Chuquitaype – Arequipa, Peru, who has experimented with music and noise since 2000, founder of the netlabel and NOXA RECS handmade seal and the “dream noise” project FIORELLA16. With both projects he has participated and collaborated in the organization of concerts and festivals in his native Arequipa and in Mexico City, where he currently lives.
