On Thursday, January 16 at the Basement, a wonderful Jazz artist “Steve Turre” arrives, the American trombonist and composer arrives to delight with his talent and virtuosity and give them the touch of varied and beautiful melodies, which will impact your senses, leading to audience on a unique musical journey.

Together with this great musician, there will be: Eduardo Montero on the piano, Orlando Ramírez on drums, Leo Arguello Contrabajo and Juan Carlos Espinoza on percussion.

“Steve Turre” is an American jazz trombonist and composer. Son of Mexican-American parents, he grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, absorbing all kinds of music, from mariachi to blues and jazz. After a brief period with the violin, Turre goes to the trombone with 10 years, and with that instrument he begins to work with local musicians three years later.
