Temporada 2019 OSH en el Nacional
Heredia Symphony Orchestra (OHS) is a professional Costa Rican ensemble whose goal is to disseminate and encourage the creation of contemporary concert music.
Musical proposal of the OSH aims to produce knowledge and culture, within the framework of the rich global cultural variety and the avant-garde of contemporary music, which is reflected in audiovisual record of Latin American and Costa Rican composers.
In this sense, OSH has prepared two concerts to enjoy the IV and V program of the 2019 season:
The IV Program will be presented on Saturday, July 20 at 8:00 pm, with the Principal Eddie Mora and the interpretation of the Polish Henryk Górecki as the national premier of the Orchestra, the Estonian Arvo Pärt and the Hungarian Béla Bartók (Hungary | 1881-1945)
The V Program will be presented on Saturday, July 27, by the Principal Eddie Mora and the interpretation of Alejandro Escuer’s flute solo from Mexico, the works of Cuban Leo Brouwer, the world premiere of Sine nomine by maestro Eddie Mora, the work of the Mexican Silvestre Revueltas and the national premiere of the piece by the Hungarian György Ligeti.
