Viernes cinéfilos: Cine francófono lgbtiq+
On Friday, June 14 at 6:00 p.m. in French Alliance of Costa Rica, we invite you to attend this “Cinephile Friday: LGBTIQ + French-language Cinema”, where you can enjoy a film that subverts heteronormativity in cinema.
This film series presents stories with cinematographic proposals that celebrate and question complexities of desire and identity.
On this occasion, the film Portrait d’une jeune fille of the end des années 60 à Bruxelles (Portrait of a young woman in the 60s in Brussels – 1994) will be screened. A film written and directed by Chantal Akerman, starring Circé Lethem, Julien Rassam and Jöelle Marlier and which tells in 60 minutes the story of Michèle, a teenager who decides to leave school, meets Paul and together they roam the streets of Brussels, intertwined in conversations that reveal a deep confusion in Michèle.
